Warriors forward Draymond Green is questionable for Sunday’s game in Chicago with a muscle strain in his right foot.

After missing all three of Golden State’s preseason games because of a positive coronavirus test, Green, 30, sat out the first two regularseason games with his foot issue. The injury isn’t considered serious, and he participated in Saturday’s practice with no issues.

“Just got to get my wind back,” said Green, who will talk to head coach Steve Kerr and Rick Celebrini — the team’s director of sports medicine and performance — about how he’s feeling before Golden State decides whether he’ll play against the Bulls. “My body feels amazing. Some way in hell, I got to get that back. Tonight and in the morning, I just got to kind of see how it responds to playing today. But for the most

Ayo Dosunmu scored 30 points, Kofi Cockburn added 15 points and 15 rebounds and the host Illini ( 73, 31 Big Ten) used a 140 secondhalf run to slip past the Hoosiers ( 54, 02).

part, I feel great.”

Green’s return would be a major boost to a team that dropped its first two games, to Brooklyn and Milwaukee, by a combined 65 points. In addition to helping organize theWarriors’ defense, he’d help initiate their offense and find open shooters.

Green would also be an oncourt coach of sorts for Golden State’s young players, including center JamesWiseman. Regardless of whether Green comes back Sunday or later, he’ll try to hush his doubters. Last season, as Green dealt with injuries and struggled playing with a newlook supporting cast, he heard critics suggest that he is past his prime.

“I just want to show that I can play at the level I know I’m

capable of playing,” Green said. “I just want to play this game at a very high level and have fun with this game.”

Curry 3s: Guard Stephen Curry arrived at practice Saturday in Chicago trying to snap out of a seasonopening shooting slump.

During his usual shooting routine, he hit 105 straight 3pointers, easily breaking his previous record of 77 in a row. TheWarriors tweeted video of the final 103 makes and, within an hour, it had nearly 33,000 likes and more than 9,000 retweets.

“It’s insane,” Kerr said of Curry’s 105 straight makes from beyond the arc. If the Guinness Book ofWorld Records “still exists, it should be in there.”

Two games into the season, Curry, 32, is 13for38 from the field ( 4for20 from 3point range). He needs one more made 3pointer to join Ray Allen and Reggie Miller as the only players in NBA history to hit 2,500 for their career.

“Obviously, the greatest shooter I think to ever play this game,” Green said. “As great as that is, I can’t sit here and act like, ‘ Oh, I’m surprised.’ It’s just not really surprising to me. It’s such an incredible thing, but I’m sorry, Steph, it doesn’t really get me up out of my seat that he hit 105 in a row.”
