Agee carries San Jose State to 3rd consecutiv­e win

Trey Smith scored 21 points and Sebastian Mendoza scored 13 for San Jose State (511, 39 Mountain West). Omari Moore had eight boards and eight assists.

#2 Baylor 85, Auburn 72: Davion Mitchell had 13 points against his old team as the host Bears moved to 16-0. Jaylin Williams had 17 for the Tigers (10-8).

#3 Villanova 80, Seton Hall 72: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl scored 23 points in 21 minutes for the visiting Wildcats (11-1, 6-0 Big East). Shevar Reynolds scored 13 to lead the Pirates (9-8, 6-5).

#20 Virginia Tech 65, #8 Virginia 51: Keve Aluma scored 29 points for the host Hokies (13-3, 7-2 ACC), who trailed the Cavaliers (11-3, 7-1) by 10 in the second half. Jay Huff scored 13 for Virginia, which had won 15 in a row in the ACC.

Florida 85, #11 West Virginia 80: Colin Castleton scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half for the visiting Gators (10-4). Derek Culver led the Mountainee­rs (11-5) with 28 points.

#12 Missouri 102, TCU 98: Xavier Pinson scored 36 points, Jeremiah Tilmon had 33 and the host Tigers (11-3) beat the Horned Frogs (9-7) in overtime. Missouri had trailed by 12 with less than five minutes left.

Marcus Zegarowski scored 19 points for the Bluejays (13-4, 9-3 Big East). The host Blue Demons (3-7, 1-7) lost to Creighton for the 13th straight time.

Brandon Newman scored 21 of his 29 points in the second half, Trevion Williams had 17 points and 14 rebounds and the host Boilermake­rs (12-6, 7-4 Big Ten) beat the Gophers (11-6, 4-6).

#18 Gonzaga 79, St. Mary’s 52: Jill Townsend scored 18 points for the visiting Bulldogs (15-2, 10-0 WCC). Madeline Hollard scored 16 for the Gaels (5-12, 3-8).

Santa Clara 68, Pepperdine 64: Lindsey VanAllen scored 16 points as the Broncos (9-6, 5-4 WCC) defeated the host Waves (3-9, 0-8).

USF 84, Loyola Marymount 66: Ioanna Krimili put up 29 points and the Dons (9-8, 5-6 WCC) beat the host Lions (5-9, 4-5).
