Sharks beat Ducks, win 3rd straight

Evander Kane scored for the third straight game, Martin Jones stopped 26 shots and the Sharks beat the Ducks 31 in Anaheim on Saturday night. Kevin Labanc and Dylan Gambrell also scored for the Sharks, who have their first threegame winning streak this season. That includes victories on consecutiv­e nights during which they outscored the Ducks 91.

Flames 3, Canadiens 1: Sean Monahan scored twice, Jacob Markstrom made 24 saves and host Calgary swept a two-game series. Darryl Sutter coached his second game for the Flames after returning when Geoff Ward was fired March 4.

Canucks 2, Oilers 1: Tyler Myers broke a tie midway through the third period for host Vancouver, which had lost three straight games to Edmonton. Edmonton was bidding for its fifth consecutiv­e win.

Knights 5, Blues 1: Mark Stone scored twice and Marc-Andre Fleury made 34 saves for visiting Vegas. Shea Theoassist dore, Max Pacioretty and Alex Tuch also scored for Vegas, which had not beaten St. Louis in regulation in their previous 11 meetings dating to 2017.

Blue Jackets 4, Stars 3: Zach Werenski scored at 4:55 of overtime as host Columbus rallied to beat Dallas. Jack Roslovic finished with three assists as Columbus snapped a three-game skid.

Panthers 4, Blackhawks 2: Aleksander Barkov had two goals and an assist, and host Florida beat Chicago.

Islanders 3, Devils 2: Kieffer Bellows scored his first two goals of the season in the third period as visiting New York won its eighth straight.

Lightning 6, Predators 3: Playing in front of home fans for the first time this season, Tampa Bay raised its 2020 Stanley Cup banner and beat Nashville. Tyler Johnson had a goal and an assist for the Lightning.

Penguins 3, Sabres 0: Casey DeSmith stopped 24 shots, and visiting Pittsburgh handed Buffalo its 10th straight loss. Jake Guentzel scored the go-ahead goal by batting in his own rebound with 3:23 left in the second period. The Sabres said that captain Jack Eichel is out indefinite­ly with an upper-body injury.

Capitals 5, Flyers 4: Alex Ovechkin scored, Carl Hagelin had a goal and an and visiting Washington held on late for its fourth straight win.

Jets 5, Maple Leafs 2: Adam Lowry broke a tie at 7:39 of the third period as Winnipeg won in Toronto.

Rangers 4, Bruins 0: Chris Kreider scored his 14th goal, Artemi Panarin had an assist in his first game after returning to the team, and visiting New York halted a three-game slide. Panarin left Feb. 22 after a Russian tabloid printed allegation­s that he attacked a woman in Latvia almost a decade ago; he denies it. The Bruins have dropped eight of their past 12.
