Angelina Schulze

-

Angelina Schulze (89) was granted her angel wings on March 23rd, 2021. She peacefully spent her final days surrounded by family at her Tucson retirement home. Although she was so tiny and frail, her strength and love filled us all with courage and hope and reminds us still of the preciousness of life and the importance of family. Angie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children above all else and embraced every moment with them to the fullest. She loved to cook Italian food and taught all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to make her famous gnocchi.

Angie worked for the SFUSD for many years before retiring. She spent many happy days with her friends playing golf at the Golden Gate and Fleming golf courses, followed by long wonderful lunches full of laughter afterward. A devout Catholic, Angie was extremely active at Holy Name Church in

San Francisco, where her children attended school. She continued her lifelong devotion at St. Mark Catholic Church in Tucson.

Throughout Angie’s life she surrounded herself with pictures of her parents Gus and Josephine Marino, her deceased husband Rudolf, and her deceased son Rudy.

Angie is survived by her three children, Greg, Cindy and Derek; brother Joe Marino; son-in-law Bill Senn, and daughters-in-law Anne and Michelle. Angie took great pride in her eight grandchildren Nicole, Will, Dustin, Christine, Megan, Nick, Ryan, Sammy; and her four great grandchildren Isabella, Aida, Penelope, and Carmen.

We will all miss mom’s fastidiousness to dedication to maintaining a clean home; however we take solace in knowing she has a freshly vacuumed carpet on her journey to heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date and details will be forwarded to family and friends.
