Tom Bayless, long-time Petaluma resident and San Francisco native died peacefully on March 14, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on September 13, 1943 to Harry and Dottie Bayless. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 53 years; children, Beth Porteous, Jill Poole and Amy O’Shea (Matt) and his six grandchild­ren: Kyle, Amanda, Caleb, Jacob, Halas and Bonham. Tom loved time spent with family, golf friends, fishing buddies, and fellow Pedro players, as well as his work family at IBS. He also enjoyed vacationin­g in Arnold, CA with dear friends and family. Tom still kept in touch with many of his neighborho­od friends from Eureka Valley and Most Holy Redeemer School and cherished his life-long friendship­s.

He will be remembered for his kind, generous and welcoming nature, his smile, hugs, and corny “Dad jokes”.

Special thank you to the Kaiser Infusion Center staff of San Rafael, who took such great care of him. A memorial will be held when it is safe to do so.
