John Paul Rohrer, Jr.
June 5, 1932 - March 24, 2021
John died peacefully on March 24th at the age of 88. He grew up in Fresno, CA, graduating Fresno High School and then Stanford University. John married Sally Jergenson in 1954 and then got his MBA at Stanford. Upon graduation, John joined Kaiser Aluminum in New Orleans and after two years transferred to Kaiser Cement in California. During his time with Kaiser, John spent some time in Seattle, WA and Montana and then returned to California until he retired as VP of Marketing. John’s second career was to form an international consulting company and served as its President before retiring in 2015. John said the Kaiser experience was a great background and made consulting around the world interesting and fun. Sally and John lived in Lafayette for 56 years.
John is survived by his wife, Sally Rohrer, his sons, Michael (wife Melody) and Kevin (wife Connie), and daughter Melissa (husband William Thorn) as well as four grandchildren, Christopher, Cynthia, William and Peter.
