Grab your bunny ears and crown of thorns: The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s annual “Easter in the Park” tradition returns this year as a livestreamed television on Twitch.TV, a partnership between the SF Queer Nightlife Fund and Folsom Street Events.

As always, the centerpiece event will be the community favorite “Hunky Jesus” and “Foxy Mary” contests, which anyone in the United States can enter to participate. This year’s theme, “Rise Up With Sisters,” is the group’s way of inspiring viewers “as we emerge from the turmoil and darkness of the past four years.”

The celebration will be hosted by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum and trans activist Honey Mahogany and Bay Area activist and drag king Alex U. Inn, while Sister Roma and Sister Dana lead a panel of highly judgmental sisters in selecting the winners.

The event includes drag performances, blessings from Sisters around the world, an auction to raise funds for the Sisters’ Grant Program and a special surprise announcement.

While the Sisters’ annual celebration in Dolores Park has attracted more than 10,000 revelers in years past, this Easter the live show will broadcast from the newly acquired Folsom Street Events Studio.

“The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Easter in the Park”: Live-streamed event. 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 4. Free. Streaming on Twitch, www.twitch.tv/ sfqueernight lifefund
