San Francisco Chronicle - (Sunday)
Plant sales
Master Gardeners and other nonprofit organizations usually hold plant sales in April where they offer many varieties of tomatoes and other seedlings for spring planting. This year, there are many pandemic-generated changes and cancellations so doublecheck websites for details. (If you do go to a plant sale that permits in-person shopping, bring a box in which to carry your purchases home.)
