Master Gardeners and other nonprofit organizati­ons usually hold plant sales in April where they offer many varieties of tomatoes and other seedlings for spring planting. This year, there are many pandemic-generated changes and cancellati­ons so doublechec­k websites for details. (If you do go to a plant sale that permits in-person shopping, bring a box in which to carry your purchases home.)
