Tomato varieties

There are hundreds of tomato varieties. Although several nonprofit plant sales are canceled this year due to COVID restrictions, some Master Gardener sites provide links showing regionally adapted varieties they have offered in past sales. Among varieties that some gardeners have found successful in coolish gardens are ‘Early Girl,’ ‘Stupice,’ ‘Sungold’ and ‘Juliet.’ Some that resist the all-too-common threat of late blight are ‘Juliet,’ ‘Damsel’ and ‘Buffalosun.’
