Eduardo Adonay of San Francisco entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2021 at age 94. Beloved husband of Felicitaci­on Bundang Adonay; loving Father of Digna, Isagani (Jon), Raul, Marissa, Helen, Daniel and Susan; cherished grandfathe­r to Niko, Gaby, Aidan, Duran, Alex, Jessica and Isabella (Ning); devoted son of Sofronio Ramos and Felicidad Adonay; caring brother to Irena, Ignacio, Pedro, Veronica, Isabel, Agelio and Restituto. Eduardo retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service as a First Class Petty Officer. A Naval Culinary School graduate, he proudly served as a Chef while on duty, and then went on to work at the Animal Care and Research Facility at the San Francisco VA Hospital until his retirement in 1992.

He was a lifetime member of the Fleet Reserve Associatio­n and a member of the Board of Directors of the Filipino-California­ns Senior Citizens Society, Inc. (FIL-CA) where he served as a Director from 2011 and 2012.

Eduardo, an avid dancer, SF Giants and Pacquiao fan, will be remembered not only for his many achievemen­ts in his service, but also for his dedication to family, love for his community, and pride of his Filipino culture. He will be remembered for his smile, afternoons watching baseball, celebratin­g his grandchild­ren, and Thanksgivi­ng blessings.

Ed, to his friends and Dandoy to his family, will be dearly missed and fondly remembered as an incredibly generous person and a true gentleman with impeccable style.

Go in peace, Tatay, we will hold you forever in our hearts.
