Born November 7, 1929, died peacefully with family at her side on April 25, 2021. Native San Franciscan. Married to George Samoulides for 70 years. Loving mother of Steven (Jeannette) and Greg (Veronica) along with grandson Brian (Charity) and great granddaugh­ter Avery. She leaves behind sisters Dorothea Christon (deceased) and Thalia Stavrinide­s and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Worked for the Pacific Telephone Co. until she decided to become a fulltime mom raising her family. She filled her time by volunteeri­ng and assisting others in need. She was a past President of the Ladies Philoptoho­s Society of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and assisted with other duties as a volunteer at the church office. Served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. A great fundraiser for the church programs and other organizati­ons. She and George enjoyed travelling the world together. For the past five years, Artemis made many friends as a resident of Cypress at Golden Gate.

Funeral services to be held at the Greek Orthodox Memorial Park, Colma on Monday, May 3 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 999 Brotherhoo­d Way, San Francisco, 94132.
