Nora Toursarkissian passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Widow of attorney Noubar Toursarkissian, she is survived by her daughter Christine Tour-Sarkissian, son Paul Tour-Sarkissian and his wife Tania, granddaughter Tania Ketenjian and her husband Philip Wood, grandsons Alex Tour-Sarkissian and Mark Tour-Sarkissian, great-granddaughter and namesake Nora Wood, cousin Dr. Herant Katchadourian and his wife Stina, and many relatives and friends in the community who will dearly miss her. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nora had countless talents, and remained sharp and curious throughout her entire life. Her interests were vast, and she had a wide-ranging intellect. An active supporter of many charitable organizations, Nora was beloved for her elegance, charm and wit. Her life took her to many countries and imposed upon her many challenges, all of which she met with her characteristic resourcefulness and grace. She will be laid to rest at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma after a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Armenian Apostolic Church at 275 Olympia Way in San Francisco.
