Nora Toursarkis­sian passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Widow of attorney Noubar Toursarkis­sian, she is survived by her daughter Christine Tour-Sarkissian, son Paul Tour-Sarkissian and his wife Tania, granddaugh­ter Tania Ketenjian and her husband Philip Wood, grandsons Alex Tour-Sarkissian and Mark Tour-Sarkissian, great-granddaugh­ter and namesake Nora Wood, cousin Dr. Herant Katchadour­ian and his wife Stina, and many relatives and friends in the community who will dearly miss her. A devoted wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r, Nora had countless talents, and remained sharp and curious throughout her entire life. Her interests were vast, and she had a wide-ranging intellect. An active supporter of many charitable organizati­ons, Nora was beloved for her elegance, charm and wit. Her life took her to many countries and imposed upon her many challenges, all of which she met with her characteri­stic resourcefu­lness and grace. She will be laid to rest at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma after a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Armenian Apostolic Church at 275 Olympia Way in San Francisco.
