San Francisco Chronicle - (Sunday)
One Day—Too Soon Ralph Walbridge died at home in Berkeley on March 26. He was 92.
A lifelong poet with a gift for friendship, Ralph knew every nook and cranny of North Berkeley. An inveterate walker, he climbed Berkeley’s hills, trekked Yosemite’s trails, and, with a beloved canine companion, hiked Tilden Park until he fell ill.
Ralph is survived by sons Charles, Julian, and Aland, and close friends Jane Welford, Emily Hancock, Carol Chandlee, and Leatrice
A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held when circumstances permit.
