Larry Saros

Larry was born and raised in the Sunset District of San Francisco. He was an alumnus of Abraham Lincoln High School Class of ‘54. He was most proud of his four years of service with the Marine Corps. Larry was active in the San Francisco neighborho­od bar scene for over 40 years. He was last proprietor of the Wishing Well Bar on Irving Street for 23 years. He got his start at the Florentine Gardens, and was Opening Manager for the Irish Cultural Center. He was an active member of the Sunset District economy, sponsoring many public charitable and sport events. He was a Past-President of The Godfathers (supporters of the St. Vincent School for

Boys) and a loyal sustaining member. Larry is survived by his wife and soulmate of over 40 years, Debbie Saros, his brothers Ron and Charlie, a son, a granddaugh­ter, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Anna Saros, Aunts Sis and Mary, and Uncles George and Tom. At Larry’s request, no services are planned.
