Herb Lindberg

Herb passed away peacefully April29, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of San Francisco’s Noe Valley and attended Polytechni­c High and was a graduate of SF State U. He served proudly in the US army.

He was an avid skier and met future wife Pattie at Squaw Valley. They raised two sons in Burlingame, where he coached AYSO soccer and Little League.

Herb worked thirty-three years for CSAA, selling casualty insurance, enjoying his co-workers and customers.An avid golfer, he was a member of Crystal Springs and Shadow Mountain Golf Clubs and enjoyed many retirement years in the Palm Desert area. He was also a notorious SFGiant and Niner fan.

Funeral services are for immediate family. A memorial will be held later this year.

Herb will forever be remembered by his wife of fifty-three years Pattie, sons Christophe­r and Gregory (Christin) and Grandson Cooper.
