On May 16, 2021, Debbie Ann Cucalon, loving sister, daughter, and aunt, passed away at the early age of 65 after a two-year battle with cancer. Debbie was born in Vallejo, CA where she spent her early years before moving to San Francisco with her family. She was a graduate of Convent of the Sacred Heart high school, Class of 1973, and a graduate of Santa Clara University, Class of 1977. Debbie was most known for her magical voice and songwriting as she expressed her words and thoughts through song.

Debbie loved to travel and experience different parts of the world and their cultures. One of her favorite adventures was a year spent living in Spain as she studied abroad her junior year in college. Upon her return, she became a professional travel agent with the goal of helping others pursue their own adventures. She also had a passion for real estate and helping families and individuals make a house a home.

Debbie was very spiritual and always found peace in nature, spending much of her spare time taking long walks in Crissy Field and along the Marina Greens in San Francisco. She also loved spending quality time with family, friends and loved ones.

Her love for music and the performing arts was unparalleled and spent years mastering the crafts of singing and songwriting. Debbie wrote and performed several of her own original songs debut when she did her own “One Person “shows. She would share all these gifts with the world by donating her voice and songs with those at Bread and Roses and at the Convent of the Sacred Heart and even did impersonations of Liza Minnelli and others. Along with her artistic talent, she will be most remembered for her contagious laughter, positivity, and the way she lit up every room she stepped foot in. Those close to Debbie, could always count on a personalized birthday song every year like clockwork.

Blessed with a large and loving family and friends with whom she was surrounded in her final days. She was predeceased by her father, Antonio, and is survived by her mother, sister, two brothers, three nephews, two nieces, several grand nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

Debbie had a gift of touching the soul of every person she met, connecting with others on a profound level and sharing inspiration for life wherever she went. She lived life with a smile on her face and was always willing to share her boundless love with others. No matter what challenges life presented, Debbie confronted them head on with a positive attitude and unmatched grace.

A Private Service was held in honor of Debbie with the Family.
