Eric Henderson of San Rafael, CA, died unexpectedly, June 2, near his home in Murrayville, GA. Eric was a graduate of Terra Linda High School, and Sacramento State, both in CA.

Eric had a passion for fitness, health, and helping others.

He became a certified personal trainer in FL, and later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Emory University School of Medicine in GA, where he graduated with honors. Eric, who had a strong work ethic, was both a physical therapist at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, and educator at Breneau University, and was very committed to his patients and students. Eric was a devoted husband and father, who often spent time working on his home, and helping his kids at their various hobbies and sports. He was an avid sports fan who was loyal to the SF Giants, SF Forty-Niners, and GS Warriors. As a huge rock music fan, Eric was known for his exceptional air guitar skills and for tossing up the horns every time he heard a Y&T, KISS, Guns ‘N Roses, or AC/ DC track.

Eric is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Marina Henderson, wife Kelly Henderson, children Michael and Madison Testagrossa, Isabella, Kennedy and Hudson Henderson, and sister, brother-in-law and nephew Amy, Ernesto, and Rey Guzmán.

Eric is preceded in death by Alena Creel, his fosterdaughter, who he loved and considered one of his own children.

Eric was loved by many including his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his close group of friends, most of whom he’d known since elementary school. He’ll be missed by all who knew him.
