Upcoming TotalSF events

Chronicle columnist Heather Knight and pop culture critic Peter Hartlaub will host their next TotalSF movie, “San Andreas,” at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Balboa Theater, 3630 Balboa St. Tickets available at cinemasf.com. Their summer TotalSF book club pick is “The End of the Golden Gate,” with essays by several San Francisco writers on whether to stay in the city or leave it.
