Wild Onion Bistro & Bar, Palo Alto

The Peninsula’s newest hotel dining option is Wild Onion Bistro & Bar, which opened in the Hotel Citrine in Palo Alto in late June. For now Wild Onion is only serving breakfast and dinner but plans to eventually open all day. Pastries come from Mountain View’s the Midwife and the Baker, while dinner fare includes a wide range of options, from avocadoshishito tacos and a picklebrined fried chicken sandwich to mushroomeggplant Bolognese. There’s also a full bar, meaning cocktails as well as local beer and wine.
