Wynn was a lover of life! She grew up in Alameda, California attending Porter School and Alameda High. She was an accomplish­ed tap dancer and loved playing the violin. Wynn attended the University of Oregon and Lane Community College where she earned her nursing degree and was an ICU nurse on the Peninsula at Kaiser Hospital and Mary’s Help Hospital (now Seton Hospital). While in Oregon Wynn met Nick. They later married and lived in both Pacifica and Hillsborou­gh raising Christophe­r and Cassondra, to whom Wynn was devoted. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved their yearly family visits to Lake Tahoe, road trips with daughter Cassondra, their beloved dogs, cooking, music, the San Francisco Ballet, museums, the theater and visits to Filoli. She doted on grandchild­ren Amy and Andrew.

Wynn passed away in the early morning hours of August 10th from complicati­ons due to Alzheimer’s after a valiant 13-year battle. Wynn was predecease­d by parents William “Frank” Peacock and Iris Peacock. She is survived by her husband Nick, son Christophe­r (Florence), daughter Cassondra, grandchild­ren Amy and Andrew, sister Gail De Bellis (Dominick), sisterin-law Georgia Morrow and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebratio­n of Wynn’s life on Saturday, September 4th, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the outdoor courtyard of First Presbyteri­an Church of Alameda, 2001 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda.

John Paul Topham passed away peacefully at his home in Stinson Beach. He was 76 years old.

A native California­n, John was born in San Francisco to Edward and Georgette (Dodie) Topham. He spent the early years of his life in Atherton, until the death of his father when the family moved back to San Francisco. John attended the Cate School and Lowell High School (Class of 1963), where he excelled in Track. He attended the University of San Francisco and graduated with a degree in Business. After graduating USF, John spent many years involved with the family’s business, United Artist Theatres. John loved visiting friends, playing golf, his garden, his cars, and his dogs. He enjoyed hiking and camping in the mountains and was an avid fisherman.

John was a man who was filled with love, warmth, and kindness. He was known for his generosity towards anyone who needed his help. He was the epitome of a gentleman. John was affectiona­tely known as “Jack” to his family and close friends.

He was predecease­d by his grandparen­ts Michael and Hannah Naify, father Edward Topham, brother Michael Topham, grandfathe­r Dr. Edward Topham, stepfather John N. Rosekrans Jr., mother Georgette (Dodie) Naify Topham Rosekrans, and sisters in law Sandra Williams Topham and Catherine McKeon Topham.

He is survived by his brother Edward (Ned) Topham, step brothers John S. Rosekrans and Peter Rosekrans, former wife Catherine Topham, nephews Michael D. Topham, Roger E. Topham, Edward (Ned) M. Topham, and Christian Topham, great-nieces Farrell, Elena, and Paloma Topham, great-nephews William and Christophe­r Topham, and great-greatniece Lion Jaeger Topham.

John’s family will always be grateful to those who cared for him: his driver Angelito, his companion Joan, and his dear friend Michael “Mike” Smith. Donations can be made in John’s name to the American Heart Associatio­n.
