Silvio Martino Barnoli
Heaven received a new angel on August 8, 2021, with the passing of Silvio Martino Barnoli, aka “Sil”. A loving husband to Eleanor, father to Rhonda Alderman, grandfather to Brian and Brandon Alderman, Tony Tregenza, and great-grandfather to Jaylee, Mark, Bentlee, Tiffany Tregenza and brother to Guido, Shirley Barnoli, uncle to Reneé Peppars, Michael Lutz, Linda, Mike, Jeannie Barnoli and brother-in-law to Charles Aiello, Robert, and Virginia Lutz. Silvio was born in San Francisco, CA, and went to Balboa High School. He was raised by his loving parents Ittilio and Josephine Barnoli, descendants of Italy. He served in the U.S Army-Private First Class, Korean War stationed in Germany from June 1953-July 1955. Silvio was passionate about baseball and played on the All-Star Baseball Team “The Chiefs” in SF while in the Army and was recognized with many newspaper articles and awards for his high-performance athletic wins. Silvio was a Real Estate Broker in the Mission District of San Francisco at Dial Associates and Barnoli Realty. He loved helping people in any way he could with his unmatched heart of gold. As a member of Hanes Ranch in Mendocino, he enjoyed spending time at his cabin, BBQing, and the beauty and peacefulness of, as he called it, “mother nature.” Sil loved spending time with his family, kids, and grandchildren with his fun-loving spirit filled with laughs, love, and cherished memories forever. He also loved the 49er’s and never missed watching a game with his beloved wife. He is reunited with his fur kids Willy, Nikka, Tashi, and Cindy across the Rainbow Bridge in Heaven.
Sil was very talented and intelligent at many things and enjoyed building and construction, always working on projects or helping others with theirs. Whenever you needed Sil, he was always there with a generous, pure heart filled with so much love, joy, and a helping hand and listening ear. He would help anyone with anything without hesitation from the goodness of his heart.
Sil. There will never be another “you.” Your generous spirit and never-ending love will continue to live in our hearts forever.
