San Francisco Opera: “Tosca”:

Alexander String Quartet: Art of the Quintet Series:

Amy Seiwert’s Imagery and ODC Theater Present Sketch 11: “Interrupte­d”:

Artistic director Amy Seiwert and fellow choreograp­herdancer Ben Needham-Wood’s “Interrupte­d” pays homage to the worldwide disruption of the pandemic by using deconstruc­tion and reconstruc­tion to expose the inner workings of choreograp­hy. Inspired by the “wrecking process,” developed by choreograp­her Susan Rethorst.

Ballet22: “Carmen”:

Breaking gender-normative traditions, specifical­ly presenting men and non-binary artists en pointe, Ballet22 presents a new take on choreograp­her Ramón Oller’s critically acclaimed “Carmen,” as well as a second world-premiere piece by the choreograp­her.

ODC Theater Presents: Funsch Dance Experience:

A world premiere of choreograp­her Christy Funsch’s cheekily defiant “Epoch.” Featuring dancers Nol Simonse, Shareen DeRyan, Aura Fischbeck, Emily Hansel, Chinchin Hsu, Zoe Huey, Hien Huynh, Jenna Marie, Jennifer Minore, Nadia Oka, Jennifer Perfilio, Phoenicia Pettyjohn, Victor Talledos, Lisa Townsend and Nina Wu, the ensemble brings to life her epic piece over the span of 12 hours. With music from Cheryl Leonard.
