James (Jim) William Dewar passed away suddenly at the age of 56. Jim is survived by his partner Crystal and his cherished dog, Athena, stepfather Larry Accordino, adopted son Nibardo, his siblings John (Tracy), Trish (Ivan), Corinna (Rob), his nephews, niece, cousins and extended family and friends who will miss him so. He is preceded in death by his mother Joan, father James, brothers Joseph and Jeffery and his son Andrew.

Jim enjoyed many hobbies and loved spending time in nature and with his friends and family. He shared his passion for fishing, camping, golfing and cooking with those around him. A lifetime bay area sports fan, people will remember Jim for his easy smile and quick laugh. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jim’s life at Molloy’s Tavern, 1655 Old Mission Road, Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the California Pit Bull Rescue or Yosemite Conservanc­y.
