Richard Petrocchi, 89, of San Anselmo, CA, passed peacefully at his home on October 13 after a short illness.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Guadalupe “Lulu” Petrocchi, who he met in 1990 and married in 1994 and immediatel­y became the joy and bedrock of his life. Richard is also survived by his loving and close sister Toni (Donald) Feehan.

Affectiona­tely called “Uncle”, he was the cherished uncle of Kara Feehan, Steve (Jeanie) Feehan, Stacy (Scott) Gediman, and Greg (Linda) Feehan, and the great uncle to Chloe, Jake, Austin, Haley, Sydney, Sienna, Olivia and Rylee. Richard was born on June 19, 1932, in San Francisco, CA to Caesar and Edna Petrocchi. A proud San Franciscan, he graduated from Sacred Heart High School and immediatel­y embarked into his varied and hard-working career as a city of San Francisco truck driver, bar/nightclub owner, real estate agent and developer, and investor. He moved to San Anselmo in the early 1970’s and lived there for the rest of his life. Richard had a deep love for his beloved wife, sister and his entire family and friends and always enjoyed any time together with his family.

An avid athlete, Richard began running and lifting weights early in life, and continued these passions his entire life, including participat­ing in the Dipsea and Bay to Breakers far before these events became popular. He lived life his way and enjoyed the finer things in life, such as travelling, especially New York City; eating at fine restaurant­s; and shopping, whether for cars, clothes or the latest fashion accessorie­s. An impeccable dresser, Richard considered the clothier Gene Hiller, his second home and was a customer since 1953.

While Richard will be greatly missed, his memory lives on through the family and friends he touched with his love and authentici­ty. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on November 13, 2021 at 11 am at St. Anselm Church, 97 Shady Lane in the town of Ross.

Frank was a loving husband to his wife Josephine, father, grandfathe­r, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Carmelo and Orazia Longhitano, sister Mary Patane (Joseph).

Frank will be greatly missed by his brother Michael (Stella); children Frank and Gina Longhitano (Charles Huber); his grandchild­ren Tristen and Rinoa Longhitano, and Indigo Grace Longhitano Huber; many nephews and nieces, and dear friends.

Frank was born in Sicily, came to San Francisco in the early 1950’s, worked for American Poultry Co. and Modesto Foods. He loved to garden and spend time with his grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be held at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue in Daly City on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 between 4-8 PM, with a Vigil/Rosary at 5:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Epiphany at 827 Vienna Street in San Francisco. Final Resting Place will follow at Italian Cemetery in Colma.
