“My beloved Jerry, Husband and Partner. You suffered so much in your final weeks of life, I hope you get the Peace and Tranquility you so richly deserve.” October 19, 2021, 83-year old Jerome (“Jerry”) Harris Greenstein passed away peacefully at his home with his beloved husband Fred Trujillo by his side. Born in Framingham, Mass. to Louis and Anna (Levine) Greenstein, Jerry moved with his family to California in his teen years and spent most of his adult life in San Francisco, most of those years partnered with Fred. Together they loved to travel, take cruises, go to gay pride parades, hunt for bargains, and attend Openhouse and SF cultural and political events. They celebrated their 44th anniversary by getting married on September 15, shortly after Jerry’s cancer diagnosis. Jerry will be interred at the San Francisco Columbarium, a favorite historical site in the city that he so loved, in a niche right by Harvey Milk. Jerry was predeceased by his parents and his sister Gloria and her husband Ed. In addition to Fred, Jerry is survived by his niece Karen Lash and nephew David Lash, their spouses Martha Ertman and Beth Becker, great nephew and nieces Oscar, Drew, and Ryan, and many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Openhouse.

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Bisio on October 5, 2021 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Christine. Bob was a proud father to his 4 children, and a fun and loving Nonno to his 5 grandchildren. Son Brian and wife Kerrie, their son Grayson; Daughter Theresa and her husband Franky, their daughters Kinsley and Adeline; Daughter Maureen and her husband Bryan, their children Emma and Brody; and Daughter Laura. Bob is survived by his brother Jim Bisio and wife Christina.

Bob attended St. Bridgit’s Grammar School and went on to Sacred Heart High School. He was a Veteran in the Army Reserve. He worked at Blue Shield of California for 12 years as an auditor. Bob then went on to work for the San Francisco Giants starting at Candlestick Park. He was a huge baseball fan and he loved his 30 years with the Giants.

His infectious passion for baseball allowed him to entertain anyone who came into his life with unforgettable and endless stories. His sense of humor and his love for his family and friends filled our hearts and will be missed by all. Bob constantly provided us with one-of-a-kind memories that we will cherish forever.

Friends and family are invited to “A Celebration of Life” on Saturday, November 13, 2021 outside at Orange Park in South San Francisco. All (with vaccination cards) are welcome to stop by and join us in honoring Bob’s wonderful life between 12-3pm. Donations can be made in Bob’s name to the Giants Community Fund.
