San Jose State defeats Pacific

Cyndi Lewis scored 19 points to lead five San Jose State players in double figures and the host Spartans defeated Pacific 71-60 at The Event Center.

San Jose State (2-3) also got 14 points from Ella Ogier, A’Tyanna Gaulden added 13, Ellie Boni had 12 and Meghan Oberg 10 as the team ended a three-game losing streak.

Erica Adams (California High-San Ramon) scored 17 points to pace Pacific (2-2).

#2 Connecticu­t 88, Minnesota 58: Christyn Williams scored 31 points on 12-for-14 shooting as the Huskies (2-0) beat the Golden Gophers (3-2) in the inaugural game of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. #4 Indiana 67, Quinnipiac 59: Grace Berger scored 17 points to lead the Hoosiers (4-0) — who face No. 7 Stanford on Thursday in Nassau, Bahamas — past the Bobcats (2-2) in Hamden, Conn.

#9 Oregon 98, Oklahoma 93: Nyara Sabally scored 20 of her 30 points after halftime to help Ducks (3-0) rally from 11 down to beat the Sooners (3-1) in the Battle 4 Atlantis.

#10 Louisville 61, Washington 53: Former Cal guard Kianna Smith and Liz Dixon each scored 13 points as the Cardinals (3-1) beat the Huskies (2-1) in Seattle. Campolindo-Moraga alum Haley Van Dyke scored 15 points and had seven rebounds for Washington (2-1).

#15 Oregon State 82, Cal State Bakersfiel­d 51: AJ Marotte scored 19 points for the host Beavers (3-0) against the Roadrunner­s (1-2).
