Mike Flanagan
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael “Mike” Dennis Flanagan,72, of Pacheco, CA announce his passing after battling Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.
Mike graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School and St. Mary’s College and served in the Army Reserves. Mike, his brother Pat, sister Shelley and their father Joe previously owned and operated Standard Fisheries (San Francisco), Central Fish (Oakland) and General Fish (Monterey & Moss Landing). He later went on to work at Safeway Headquarters in Pleasanton, CA for 20+ years before retiring.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Eulalia “Florence” Flanagan, and brother Patrick Flanagan. Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife Marcia, and his amazing children Angela Tarter (Jeremy) of Albuquerque, NM, Melissa
Cannavino of Hanford, CA, Michael Flanagan (Sheila) of St. Juliet, TN and Kelli Flanagan of Pacheco, CA. Mike had four wonderful grandkids; Angelina and Angelo Cannavino, Jaycee Tarter, and Cayden Flanagan. He also had two rambunctious great grandsons, Brody and Braxton Hill.
