Lewis C. Randall 77 of Alameda, CA passed away on October 21, 2021 at the Kaiser San Leandro Hospital. He was born July 8th, 1944 to Raymond and Bernice (Julia) Randall. He graduated from Greenway High School in 1962 and attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Lew was a Vietnam Veteran and an active member of St. Marks Lutheran Church of San Francisco. He loved spending time with friends and family and his beloved dog Prince. He possessed a sharp sense of humor and a top-down, wind-in-yourhair love for life. His top 3 favorite things were Doug, his dog, and 17 years of soberity.

Lew is survived by his husband Douglas Dickson of Alameda, CA; sister Carol Toms and sister-inlaw Patricia Randall, both of Grand Rapids; nephews and nieces Blake and Lisa Toms of Maple Grove, MN; Brian and Cindy Toms of Bloomingto­n, MN; Marc and Becky Randall of Pleasanton, CA; and Julie and Mark Vaughan of Muskogee, OK; 4 grand-nieces, a great-grand niece and nephew, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Julia, an infant brother, his brother Richard Randall, and his nephew Bruce Toms. By Lew’s request, there will be no memorial service. Memorials may be sent to America’s Vet Dogs (vetdogs.org).
