San Francisco Chronicle - (Sunday)
Douglas Rockwell Elliott
Born and raised in Marin County, Doug had a lifelong love of adventure and the outdoors. A decorated Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam, Doug was a member of IATSE Local 16 for 50+ years, and was working at Island Creative Management until COVID-19. Fiercely loyal and incredibly hard-working, he filled his time helping others and supporting his friends and family unconditionally. Doug felt most at home tending to his beloved garden, its seasonal yields being a source of great pride. Doug is survived by his wife Adah Buike; his children Heather Raymond (Jay), Janice Tauscher (Ed), Jeanine Dixon (Alex), Tom Elliott (Sarah) and Anne
Buike; his grandchildren Bryan (Dana), Jake, Kenneth and Josh, and his great granddaughter Brooklynn. He was predeceased by his parents Robert & Virginia, and his sister Susan.
Services will be held on December 4, 2021. Please contact a family member directly for information.
