Indigenous People Sunrise Ceremony:
This event commemorates 527 years of Indigenous resistance and survival in the Americas. It honors the cultural resiliency of Indigenous people in California and around the world, and celebrates the anniversary of the occupation of Alcatraz by Indians
of All Tribes in 1969-70. This event has been sponsored and coordinated by the International Indian Treaty Council for 41 years.
This is not a standard Alcatraz Island tour. All areas with the exception of where the ceremony takes place will be closed and inaccessible to the general public. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling or from the ticket booth at Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing.

GobbleCon Game Convention:
GobbleCon hosts more than 52 hours of board games, role-playing, miniatures and more over Thanksgiving weekend. There will be hundreds of games to choose from in the event’s library. Grab a game, gather with old friends and meet some new ones.

50th Annual KPFA Holiday Benefit Craft Fair:
With proceeds benefiting Berkeley’s KPFA 94.1 public radio, the 2021 winter craft fair will showcase juried and diverse exhibitors; original arts and craft booths, along with fair-trade vendors and nonprofit organizations represented. Food will be catered by Assemble Marketplace. There will be a free shuttle from the Richmond BART Station as well as free, on-site parking.
