Timothy Hills O’Connor of Napa, CA passed away on February 21, 2022, at the young age of 53. Tim was born June 8, 1968, in San Francisco, California. Tim was the fourth of five children, raised by Carolyn Hills O’Connor and Thomas Hugh O’Connor. Shortly after Tim’s birth, the family moved to Palo Alto where he attended St. Albert the Great Elementary School. When he was 10 years old, the family relocated to Atherton where he attended St. Raymond Catholic School. Tim went on to St. Francis High School in Mountain View and graduated in 1986.

Tim was quite the athlete. He grew up playing both basketball and football, but his great love was the former. He formed lifelong friendships and loved recalling his basketball stories. Tim went on to the University of Arizona and had the privilege of watching exciting March Madness Basketball. His love of basketball carried through to the present day as he became a local announcer for Napa’s Prolific Prep basketball program.

Tim had a captivating personality with aspirations to do voice-over work. Tim brought his wonderful sense of humor to every conversation. He could recall movie lines and jokes like no other. He never failed to jump on a stage, grab a microphone, and belt out some tunes. He was a natural entertainer, and his personality was larger than life!

After working in sales for years, Tim relocated to Napa to be closer to family. It was in Napa that he discovered his passion for helping others and embarked on a new career path. Recently, Tim achieved his certification in Addiction Counseling through Napa Valley College. He was committed to helping those struggling and suffering from addiction issues. He was exceptionally proud of his recent academic accomplishments and was eager to share his experience and compassion with those in need. Tim had many friends and acquaintances with whom he checked in regularly. He was deeply loved and will be missed tremendously by all his family and friends. Tim was predeceased by his mother, Carolyn Hills O’Connor, and is survived by his daughter Brielle, his father Thomas H. O’Connor, his brother Thomas H. O’Connor Jr. (Gaby), his sisters Carolyn O’Connor Bacci (Ted), Christine O’Connor Ricci (Kurt) and Cathleen O’Connor Kerr (Ben). and his 6 nieces and 7 nephews.
