-

Erin Maureen Dyer, our beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend passed away on July 9, 2022 peacefully in her home and surrounded by family and friends. She was 43 years young.

Born on May 28, 1979 in San Francisco to Homer H Dyer and Brenda BurtonSmith. She was raised and lived in Marin County, CA. A true CA native, she loved the coastal and natural waters of the Pacific as well as the mountainous terrains of the local favorite hiking spot of Mt. Tamalpais.

After graduating High School she attended Northern Colorado University pursuing a degree in Journalism. Later received her Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University. She worked and produced content for multiple outlets in the Skateboard and counter-culture art world, while also working in the fashion industry for a well-known clothing outfitter based in Marin. Known as “Lady Dy” she was an avid snowboarder and also enjoyed skating, surfing and all things to do with water. She adored Lake Tahoe! She loved to travel and most of all spending

time with her vast network of friends or “besties” whom she was eternally bonded with. To know her was to love her and her network “sisters from other misters” spanned the globe.

She was lovingly referred to as “Auntie TT, Dy Dy and Erin to many of her friends’ children whom she loved as her own. But her most special bond was with her beloved dog, Chunk Master Flex, the sixty-five pound lap dog who loves chasing frisbees, giving kisses and being his mom’s shadow.

Erin will be forever missed on this earth. “May her butterfly wings kiss the sun and find your shoulder to light on…” ~Irish Blessing Assisted by Monte’s Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, CA
