Outside Lands fills weekend with fun

-

Indie singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers headlines Outside Lands in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Friday, the first day of the threeday music festival featuring more than 90 acts and art installations. The outdoor extravaganza expects to draw 220,000 fans after lifting COVID protocols this year. The festival has expanded its culinary lineup, with 90 restaurants, 35 wineries and 30 breweries on tap. Cannabis connoisseurs can partake in Grass Lands, a stoner’s paradise offering edibles, smokables and supplies. After Saturday’s headlining set by East Bay pop-punk trio Green Day, the festival concludes Sunday with rapper Post Malone, pop rockers Weezer and electronic musician Illenium.
