Stewart Knight Flynn

Stewart Knight Flynn passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 89 years old.

Stewart Knight Flynn was born to Willard Dale Flynn and Mary Gomes-Romao in Manhatten Beach, CA. He met and married Barbara Ann Mullally on July 11, 1952. They settled in San Francisco and raised their four children, Laura Flynn Peradotto, Colleen Flynn DeMerritt, Eileen Flynn Wagner (Roger) and Michael Stewart Flynn. He has 10 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. He leaves behind his sisters Betty Castora (Jim), Eugenia McGruder and brother Eugene Flynn. He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Mary, wife Barbara and his five sisters and one brother.

Stewart served in the United States Army and is a retired San Francisco Police Officer. He was a member of St. Anne’s parish a former President of the St Anne’s Men’s Club and was one of the first male Girl Scout Leaders in the parish. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wed. Aug. 17, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. Anne of the Sunset Church, 850 Judah St., S.F. Interment will be private.
