Cecilia Jennifer Pickerrell

-

On August 2, 2022 our beloved Jennifer unexpectedly passed away at home in Pacifica. She is the beloved wife of Bob and adored mother of James and Alanna.

Jennifer was the thirdborn child of the late Jack and Cecilia (O’Regan) Falvey, born on July 7, 1959, in Cork, Ireland. She traveled to San Francisco in 1961 with her parents and two older brothers, Kenneth and Brendan. They settled in the Richmond District where she attended St. Monica’s Grammar School and Mercy High School. She went on to attend the University of San Francisco where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Jennifer was a devoted nurse for 40 years. Throughout her career, she worked in many different fields of nursing, but found a true love and passion for Pediatrics. This comes as no surprise as her warm, nurturing and kind presence brought comfort to all those around her.

While Jennifer found many things she loved in life, nothing compared to the love she had for her family. Jennifer and Bob were married for 35 wonderful years. She loved being a mom and nothing made her happier than spending time with her two children. One of her biggest joys was hosting loved ones in her home for life’s special celebrations. No event was ever too big or too small – she loved to make others feel loved.

Jennifer leaves behind countless family and friends who love her unconditionally; her beloved husband, Bob; loving children, James (Ashlyn) and Alanna (Jesse). Jennifer will be deeply missed by her siblings, Kenneth Falvey and Brendan Falvey (Elaine). She was a loving daughter-in-law to the late Evelyn Pickerrell and sister-in-law to Nina Pickerrell. Jennifer’s nieces and nephews loved her deeply, and hold with them many fond memories of love and laughter. Jennifer’s extended family includes cousins in the U.S., Ireland and England. She held on tightly to her dear friends with whom she enjoyed many getaways to Sonoma and celebrating life’s big and small moments.

On Sunday, 8/7, family and friends may call at Pacifica’s Chapel by the Sea, 801 Oceana Blvd., Pacifica, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
