2 slain, cyclist fatally struck in chaos
Three people were killed during a chaotic scene in West Oakland that involved a fatal shooting and a car fatally striking a bicyclist, police said.
Oakland police responded around 7:30 p.m. Friday to the 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and found two men who were fatally shot, according to authorities. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators told NBC Bay Area that when officers arrived they found vehicles involved in a collision and a bicyclist who appeared to have been struck by one of the vehicles. He also was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three deceased people were not immediately identified by authorities.
