BASEBALL UNDER THE DEFECTIVE LIGHTS
As I was photographing the Padres-Giants game Monday at Oracle Park, I started noticing that it was getting darker than usual. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but my camera settings proved that it definitely was not as bright as a usual night game.
In the third inning, the umpires realized that the stadium lights were not at full power and the game was stopped for 40 minutes until the problem was fixed.
It is difficult to show a lack of light in a photograph, because with a change in shutter speed or f/stop, any scene can be made to look brighter or darker. So I did my best to make an informational frame with the umpires and the lights together.
