Emilia Tallerico
“Auntie Mia” passed away peacefully at the youthful age of 102. Her death was preceded by her Italian immigrant parents Antonia and Pasquale Clarizio, uncle Biagio, husband Tony, step-son Emil, brother Mike, sister Vincenza, and sister Francis.
Emilia had a fulfilling career at TransAmerica Insurance. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing the accordion, singing with her siblings, growing orchids, bowling, playing Bingo, and was an avid member of the ICF Branch #19(Italian Catholic Federation), Ancient Order of the Druids Hillcrest Circle #143, and the Sexy Sewers club!
She loved her 49ers Football, all types of social events, and thrived on sharing her stories, memories, and laughter with others! Especially if a Martini or Brandy Manhattan was involved! She also loved to camp, travel and collect turtle figurines.
Emilia is survived by her brother-in-law Ambrose Mantegani, many loving nieces/nephews to greatgreat nieces/nephews, extended family, and close friends that loved her dearly. Friends may visit Sunday September 11, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City where a rosary service will be held at 6:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 12th at 12:00pm at Holy Angels Church, 107 San Pedro Rd. Colma. Donations may be made to ICF Branch #19, 225 Wildwood Dr, So. San Francisco, CA 94080 in memory of “Emilia Tallerico”. Interment Italian Cemetery, Colma
