Joao Carlos Lopes

João Carlos Lopes passed away on September 11th in El Cerrito. Born in 1964 in Brazil, he emigrated to the US in 1989 and built a successful career in international software sales. A talented gardener and fisherman and avid sports fan, he was the life of every party. He is survived by his wife, Shimul Rahim, and 8 siblings in Brazil.
