Stuart Edward Neblett died peacefully in his home in Burney, California.

Born in Fresno, California on April 21, 1943, the son of Dr. Edward Neblett and Margaret (Marne) Neblett. His parents moved the family to Riverside, California in 1946 so their children could grow up knowing their Neblett grandparen­ts, aunts, uncles, and cousins who lived there.

He worked for PG&E for 47 years as a telecommun­ications sub-foreman. In retirement, he stayed active in the Five Counties Labor Council. He was a cannoneer for the Civil War Re-enactment Society of Northern California, a member of E Clampus Vitus, and an active member at All Saints Episcopal Church in Redding, California. He delivered meals for Meals on Wheels in the Burney area and maintained computers for the Senior Center in Burney.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Katherine Rae Neblett, his stepson Ian Walsh, his stepdaught­er Meegan Walsh, his sister Anne Neblett Johnston, and her children Andrea Johnston (Cate), Derek Johnston (Samantha), and Ryan Johnston (Trish). He also leaves behind countless friends, relatives, and extended family members.

A Celebratio­n of Life was held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Redding. Memorials may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
