Camille Leong passed away peacefully on September 18, 2022. Born in San Francisco on December 3, 1921, she never left the City she loved until 2019. She was the matriarch of both the Leong and Wong families for many years.

Beloved “supermom” to Dennis (Leslie), daughterin-law Diana, Gary (Eileen), Tim (Vicky), Tina (Bill) and Kirby (Sara). Cherished Gma to Darren (Tish), Jared (Andrea), Adrienne (Charles), Tracey, Nicole (Matt), Danielle (Chris), Christie (Sean), Justin, Dillon, Tori (Riley) and Kelsey (Alvin). Adored Great Gma to Parker, Vivienne, Aames, Wesley, Phynley, Caiden, and Conrad. Pre-deceased by husband Edward, son Eugene, and granddaughter Justine. Also survived by her younger sister Charlotte, sisters-in-law Millie and Vernice, and many Leong and Wong relatives.

Camille was a proud Wells Fargo Bank retiree, a member of the 1972 San Francisco Grand Jury, a dental office assistant, and worked in many businesses in Chinatown. Her final years were in San Bruno, where she was cared for by her wonderful caregivers; Jona, Virginia, Ben, Nelsie and Rosie. We thank them for keeping her happy, safe and comfortable.

Memorial Service on Friday, October 7, 2-4pm at McAvoy O’Hara Company’s Evergreen Mortuary, 4545 Geary Blvd., San Francisco. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity preferred.

Camille was always filled with love and pride for her family and lived her life with class and elegance. She loved to smile, and it was contagious. When you smile next, think of her, and she will return your smile. We will miss her terribly.
