Wallace “Wally” Zave Levin passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 90. He was born on January 4, 1932, to Alice and Max Levin in Seattle, Washington.

He studied foreign trade at the University of Washington and joined the ROTC. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as First Lieutenant, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, working as the Assistant Provost Marshall. After a few short years in Southern California, they created a life together in Northern California for most of their adult life.

Known for his charisma, smile, warmth, and humor— Wally brightened virtually every room he entered. A voracious reader, he enjoyed discussing politics, culture, history, Classical music and Dixieland Jazz. He loved red wine and a good martini, dancing, and hosting dinner parties with June. He was a self-made businessman who loved people and traveled the world. He served on the boards of the Peninsula YMCA, the Peninsula Temple

Beth El, and volunteered for Samaritan House.
