Spotlight on RG Daniel Brunskill: After suffering a hamstring injury in training camp, Brunskill made his season debut in a 24-9 win against the Rams on Oct. 3 by sharing snaps with starter Spencer Burford. And head coach Kyle Shanahan said the decision to insert Brunskill was partly based on Brunskill’s history against Los Angeles and Aaron Donald, its All-Pro defensive tackle. “He’s done real good versus these guys,” Shanahan said. Brunskill has continued rotating with Burford, but he could see a larger workload Sunday. Donald has just one sack and seven QB hits in his past five regular-season games against the 49ers.

Injury notes: 49ers — WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring), LB Dre Greenlaw (calf), fullback Kyle Juszczyk (finger) and DL Arik Armstead (feet, ankle) are out; WR Jauan Jennings (hamstring) and cornerback Jason Verrett (knee) are questionable. Rams — WR Brandon Powell (ankle) is questionable.

• The 49ers had seven sacks and 35 pressures on Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s 55 dropbacks in their win on Oct. 3.

• WR Cooper Kupp has 43 catches for 504 yards in his past four games versus the 49ers, which would translate to 183 catches for 2,142 yards over a 17-game season.

• The 49ers are 0-2 and QBs have a 136.4 passer rating against them since CB Emmanuel Moseley suffered a torn ACL on Oct. 9. QBs have completed 38 of 50 passes for 552 yards with five touchdowns and one interception.
