Barbara Ann Russell

Barbara Russell, 81, of San Francisco died quietly in her sleep Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Sutter Health in San Francisco.

Barbara was a proud Californian that loved the City where she lived and worked. She was married to George Foster and Michael Russell, who both preceded her in death. She had a special place in her heart for Michael, who she referred to as her soulmate and never truly got over his loss. She leaves behind her loving son, Bryan Foster, who was her business partner, as well as a whole host of friends that loved her.

She had a long and varied career working as a nurse, managing a real-estate business, and raising her family. Barbara was a passionate and caring person that will always be remembered by those who loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 4th at 6:00pm at Duggan’s Funeral Service, The Duggan Welch family, 3434 17th St., in San Francisco, CA.
