-

Born December 25, 1922 and died November 8, 2022. He was born at home, he died at home and he loved his home and his family. He started his life in Peckville, PA and moved to San Francisco in 1941. He loved being with friends and family, his beloved Marche Club, the Bocce Ball Club and his many dear friends at St. Elizabeth’s Over 50 Club where he looked forward to his weekly card game of Pedro, with his last card game just two weeks ago. He had a big presence, big energy and an even bigger heart which he gave to everyone but saved most dearly for his beloved wife Sesta.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Sesta (Speranzini) Tosti, his two children, Sandy (Loy) Linebarger and Ken Tosti (David O’Keefe), his dear sister, Flora Paraventi (98 years young), four grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris) Vickery, Loy (Marissa) Linebarger, Louis Linebarger, Nina (Greg) Lehane, six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Melia, Kaia, Loy V, Mason, Landon, and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Dr. Tsen and Dr. Schmulbach, Kaiser hospice nurse Pam and his two wonderful caregivers, Grace and Lina, for their loving care to our Dad.

A viewing will be held on Monday November 14 from 4-8 p.m., with the Rosary at 6:30, at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City). A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church (459 Somerset Street, San Francisco). Reception immediately following internment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Over 50 Club, c/o St. Elizabeth’s Church, 449 Holyoke Street, San Francisco, CA 94134, or to another charity of your choice.
