Violet “Dolly” Patt

Violet “Dolly” Patt passed away on November 10, 2022 with family by her side. Dolly was born on March 28, 1928 in San Francisco as a second generation San Franciscan. She was proud of her Irish roots and finally stepped on the family soil for her 80th birthday at the home of her grandmothe­r, Nellie McGrath in County Waterford. Dolly married Jim Patt in 1948 and together they had 10 children. They eventually moved to Daly City and raised their family. She considered her greatest accomplish­ment to be those 10 children. They were the joy of her life.

Dolly is survived by her children Jim Patt, Collette Patt, Vicky Chiechi (Mike), Jeannie Fischer (Joe), Lisa Himm (Bob), Sally Reynolds (Tony), Mike Patt (Julie), Marty Patt (Suzanne), 13 grandchild­ren, 6 great grandchild­ren, and her sister Julie Moncrief. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jim Patt and her sons Danny and Andy Patt.

May she rest in everlastin­g peace, reunited with family and friends who have gone before her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. Celebratio­n of life immediatel­y following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
