SEE IT IN THE FACES OF NFL PLAYERS

Football is my favorite sport to photograph. It is a collision sport that is not good for the brain but is good for impactful images. In last Sunday’s 49ers game, a 22-16 win over the Chargers, the San Francisco defense did a great job of containing Chargers running back Austin Ekeler. During such a hard-hitting matchup, I try to capture images like this with facial expressions that show the physicality of the sport.
