Florence Baffico

Florence Anita Baffico passed away at the age of 100 on November 13, 2022.

She was a native of San Francisco and the only child of the late Matilda and Dominic Rossi. Florence graduated from Balboa High School and the Heald’s Business College. Flo was a USO hostess during WWII and the former bookkeeper at Valley Auto Supply for 26 years.

She leaves behind her son Ken and daughterin-law Laura. Nonnie will be missed by her grandchild­ren; Rachel Pannetta (Mike) and Jake Hutton (Morgan) as well as her great-grandchild­ren Katrina Pannetta and Madelyn and Logan Hutton. Flo now joins her husband Mario (aka Flip) who preceded her in death in 2014 and her sons, Ron (1984) and Dennis (2022).

The family would like to thank Erlinda Sesante, Violeta Baera and Norma Flores for their devotion to helping Florence remain in her home as long as possible. We are also grateful to Home Sweet Home for their dedication and excellent care as well as Heartland Hospice for their compassion and assistance.

Friends are invited to visit on Monday, November 21st beginning at 4pm at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. in Daly City where a Vigil will begin at 6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22nd at 10am at Church of the Visitacion, 655 Sunnydale Ave. in San Francisco. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Mario at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
