Donald “Don” Anthony Blanchard

In the early hours of Sunday October 16, 2022, most likely after finishing his third book of the night, our father, Don, stepped from this life into the next. Joining, Lucy Maffei, his companion of more than 40 years.

Dad was born in San Francisco on May 11, 1935. He attended Sacred Heart High School, after graduation enlisted in the Army, serving as a cook, during the Korean War. Later, he would own his own business Blanchard’s Sheet Metal and Heating.

Interment will be private and a celebration of life will occur in the Spring.
