Valene Wailin Wong

January 22, 1950 - November 20, 2022

Raised in Lahaina. A San Franciscan by choice. Liked travel, good coffee, parties, Boz, Izzy, dancing, golf, driving her Jag, kitties, her garden, vacations, honu, champagne, tequila, restaurants, delicious food cooked by someone else and, always, good wine. Val turned her home from a bit of a ramshackle to the place she loved. Her last year was horrid while she fought for life. After too long in the hospital Val came home and was well cared for, comfortable, without pain and much loved and it was at the home she created that she completed her work on this earth and left us behind. Those who were family or friend are better for having known her. They, and I, will miss and love Valene forever.
